Chapter 17: Miracles from church. .
I never knew that my pastor came from a broken family too. When i heared him testifying his life it was also a mess but Jesus chaged it all. They have three little kids now and a loving wife who supported him along his journey. He has no salary at all and for me i can see their difficulties they experienced. Even coffee or food and their physical needs are hardly bought. There were only few supporters and most of them are pedicab drivers. My pastor is great in playing drums because i saw him perform in a conference but it was not our own drumset. I was amazed by the performance he did and i can't move on. I always pray to God that we can have a drumset too but it cost too big. I am really hoping that everything will change one day especially in our church lot and building. We also need the most a vehicle for outreach service. We only walk in going and back into our destinations because the carfare is expensive. I am so pity for them because they are so thin and sweats so much. Sometimes the heat of the sun aches but most of the time i feel God's presence that He is always shadow us by the clouds. For me it is just okay the important is we sought for the work of the Lord and reach out for the people. We fast and prayed always that we will increase and there will be more workers and supporters for Christ. That there will be a miracle in the future. I always share and invited everyone to come in our church but they can't give Jesus a chance. I am still convincing them and never gave up.
My sister who is an 80 year old senior was also a beggar. She is very poor and only asking for help on the street. She can't clearly see in her eyes and uses a cane in walking. She go to different places or even far away alone. I am so amazed by her because she also gives tithes of her income. She is very good in bible verses too and her memory verses was better than mine. I was shocked when our pastor asked one time in our bible study the verses we have known and she was the one who got a lot of points. She had a grandson and was brought in an emergency room. She asked for help and the doctor said that they didn't know what caused his stomache to ache so much and was moving like a wave. He cried in front of the doctor and his grandson then prayed heartily to God, closing her eyes and saying aloud, "Lord Jesus, please wash your holy blood shed on the cross in the top of my grandson's head to his feet. You are the one who can heal him. In his stomach Lord! Please in Jesus name!" After a while his grandson's stomache get back to normal and the pain was completely gone. When my grandma sister went back to church she told our pastor that Jesus is really miraculous. She reapeated it frequently the work of the Lord has done.
I had a brother in Christ too named Roger and his wife Roselyn. Roger was a backslider before and when she met Roselyn they had a son Pepert. Their life is not at peace because Roselyn is such a jealous girl. She also loves drinking alcohol and going to disco with her friends. They had a neighbor who gave them a guitar. When Roger played it, he forgot how to play the guitar and the time flashed back when he was a guitarist in their church. He repented so much for leaving and they decided to come back in serving the Lord. They attended continually and they also got married there. Their life changed so much and they grow spiritually deep. Roselyn invited her younger sister named Jean and she is 16. She likes being with Roselyn and Roger her family in church. Jean likes to be with me too because we are very close with each other. Her life was also changed by Jesus because before she is addicted in dancing tiktok and mobile legends. She also wear indecent attires and always hanging out with friends. But now she is so different and she left every bad habits eating up her time to waste. She is now in a ministry as a back up singer and projector. Jean and Roselyn had an older brother who is a Roman Catholic and he oppressed against them being a Born Again Christian. Their brother almost punch their faces because of arguing about their beliefs. Until now they can't accept them and told them that they were only showing off. Their problems were always because of their family but still they continued and defended their faith in Jesus. It is written in the Holy bible that even your family can be your enemy. If you love your family more than God or anyone or anything in this worldd you are not worthy to be a disciple of God. I experienced it too but i already learned from it. We shouldn't argue so much and just pray for them always. It is God who can touch their hearts and not us. We are different and we can't force everyone to love Jesus the way we love Him. We went in a market to preach the gospel and after that we went to our baby church and ate together. Jean and I wash the dishes but it was late at night so my pastor told me that we should hurry for the bus last trip. When we ride on the bus it rained so much and i thought of them because last mid week service they didn't arrived at the church because their place was flooding. I prayed to God that the rain would stop because i forgot to bring my umbrella too. After a mile the place there didn't rain until i got home. When i lay in my bed it already rained. I called them when i arrived i can't reach them out. Until the morning came we met at the church and they said they encountered an accident with a miracle. Their motorcycle was going upright because of the flood and the kind of soil in the ground. Roger was on the flood and taking Pepert who is crying for help. Their phone on the bag was completely wet that is why i can't contact them. He got Roselyn and Jean who fell in a muddy place because they can't get up because of the pain at their feet. When they stood up Roselyn prayed, "My Lord, my God, please help us! We came from serving you and not from other things. It is up to you now Lord, but just help us." When they walk near a tree the pain was gone and they checked for themselves if there were bruise or bloody wounds but they couldn't found any. They were troubled because they might be blamed for what will happen to them. Actually there are more miracles happened to us and i know you have encountered it too. It is really God who does the miracles, the healing and the changes in ourlives.
