Chapter 29: Sun Chen

Elsewhere Core Elder Lee chan reached the foot of the hidden Sun peak.

He stopped for a moment to take in the view of the vast gigantic mountain, he had to raise his head completely to see the Top of the mountain that was so high that it pierce the clouds,

At the peak of the mountain stood a majestic golden villa, and coming from it was a powerful aura .

Core Elder Lee Chen felt threatened by that aura but he was relieved after he felt it because this confirmed that the person he came to meet was around, with a relieved sigh he quickened his footsteps and began climbing the stairway that led up, at a breakneck speed.

If any ordinary disciple of the skyfall sect saw him climbing the stairways like a normal mortal they would be inevitably confused after all Core elder Lee Chen was one of the few core elders that have reached a realm the realm where cultivators could harness the nature of the wind and fly.

But the truth of the matter is except for very few people in the sect no one is allowed to or dare to fly beyond the borders of the dragon peak as it was the home of one of the three most powerful elders of the sect.

The second grand elder Sun Tao!

The second grand elder Sun Tao also had another terrifying identity he is the current patriarch of the Sun clan, A very powerful clan with immense influence even within the entire borderlands of the Great Yan continent.

Thirty breaths later core Elder Lee Chan reached the peak of the mountain, he took a deep breath before entering the golden villa.

"Junior Lee Chan as seen second grand elder." Core elder Lee Chan greeted with a respectful voice with his head facing the floor.

Sun Tao ignored his greeting and asked with a deep frown on his face, "what is it?, didn't I tell you lots that no one is allowed to disturb my seclusion until the mystic realm opens?"

He sounded slightly annoyed.

Core Elder Lee Chan hurriedly tried to explain, "I apologize grand elder but a new development that might affect our plans just came up sir"

Sun Tao's frown deepened upon hearing that and he asked, "what might that be"

Core Elder Lee didn't hesitate and continued, "It's the third grand Elder's son he managed to breakthrough the foundation establishment shackles and have now reached the martial would realm sir"

"What!, he broke through after experiencing that dangerous tribulation the last time, kekeke seems like that wench must have used some treasure on him" Sun Tao only

Raised an eyebrow in surprise but that was all, he still didn't see a reason to be bothered by a mere martial core ant so he coldly asked, "is that all"

Core Elder lee Chen could feel Sun Tao rising impatience and he couldn't help but break out cold sweat after all Sun Tao's random flaring up have been engraved in his heart. so he immediately answered, "After breaking through he came over to the Library where I discovered his terrifying strength, he's become so powerful now that he even managed to defeat the peak martial core realm Liu Wang without even lifting a finger"

'That annoying old bastard' Sun Tao couldn't help but curse in his heart after he realized all that happened, he pondered in silence briefly before saying, "with that brat's ability I'm afraid he would thrive at Goku mystic realm who knows e might end up becoming a genius like that mini wench Fan Linxu and why do does that old man always interfere with my matter " he bellowed as he massaged his temples and containing mumbling angry words.

Core Elder Lee Chan remained silent as he continued to listen to the second grand elder complaining aloud.

Soon the second grand elder grew silent, he brought out a voice transmission talisman from his spatial ring and sent a short message, after that he closed his eyes once again completely ignoring the elder kneeling in front of him.

Core Elder Lee Chan didn't date leave until he was asked to so he could only patiently wait.

Luckily he didn't have to wait for long because the thick tall doors flung open and a young man who looked to be in his early twenties walked in 60 breaths later.

The youth wore golden robes just like the second grand elder, he had short jet black hair, a hawkish nose, and pointy ears plus a well-defined cheekbone.

He moved with leopard-like grace, and his sea rover blue eyes were firmly looking at the man on the scarlet throne as he moved closer.

Soon he brushed passed Core Elder Lee Chan, only when he was ten feet away from the second grand elder did he stop.

He didn't kneel as the core elder did instead he bowed his head slightly and clasped both hands in greetings, "Sun Chen as seen patriarch"

Sun Tao's eyes sprang open, he didn't take offense in his casual greeting instead he flashed a bright smile at Sun Chen before saying, "Saint Son, Sun Chen I take it you've heard what happened at the library earlier on"

Sun Chen nodded in reply, "Yes Patriarch, Falo Reid shamelessly attacked Liu wang" his voice was deep as the sea and at the same time it radiated a calmness that reflected his absolute confidence.

Sun Tao smiled a bitter smile and shook his head, "Wrong, Falo Reid wasn't the cause of anything" then he turned to core elder Lee Chan before saying"Repeat what you told me"

Core Elder Lee Chan didn't hesitate and recounted everything in detail

Several moments later after he finished explaining , Saint son, Sun Chen had a cold expression on his face as he mumbled under his voice, "This might be a problem"

Sun Tao snorted, "I know this, due to sect rules he has a slot token to enter the Goku mystic realm, and no way I can forcefully seize it from him otherwise that old geezer might trouble me later, that's why I called you here to come up with a way to have Adriel give you the slot token according to sect rules" after saying all that he looked down at Sun Chen with expectant eyes.

Sun Chen more or less expected this and he fell into thought for a while before an idea sprang up in his mind, he then raised his head and said, "I have a plan...." Then he proceeds to explain his plan.

Sun Tao grew more and more satisfied with Sun Chen as he laid out his plans, 'as expected of my Sun Family heir' he praised in his heart.

Even Core Elder Lee Chan's eyes widened more and more as he heard the plan, "what a great plan" he exclaimed in his heart.

When Sun Chen finished Sun Tao nodded at him in approval before saying, "get it done and make sure you make no mistakes that boy must not enter the mystic realm"

"Yes patriarch" Sun Chen clasped his chest.

"You may leave now, don't further disturb me" Sun Tao waved his hands as he said that, his sharp pair of eyes glazed over cire elder Chan Lee for a moment as he said the latter part causing him to shiver.

Sun Chen and core elder Lee Chan didn't longer any further and left.

Seeing them leave the Second grand elder looked in a direction, his gaze pierced through the walls of the Villa, then he said with a cold voice "let's see how you weasel your way out of this" after saying that he closed his eyes once more and resumed cultivating.
