"Where are we heading to?" she asked as she raised her brows staring at him, wanting to know the response.

They had spent most of the time driving around town, and she wondered where they were heading.

"We are going to the cleaner's shop, I want to get my clothes for the evening, I hope you do not mind," he explained not looking away from the road.

She stared hard at the man, and when she didn't find the courage to sit anything, he quietly looked away, as he heaved a gentle sigh.

"Alright, what ceremony is that you are going to attend?" she demanded as she did not tear her eyes from the man's face.

It was kind of awkward, but then, what more can she do? she thought rolling her eyes in anticipation. She was so damn tired, and the lady's face didn't leave his face even if it is for a moment.
