Chapter 352: I Refuse to be Cruel

"Darius…" Nicholai only moved closer slowly as if gauging the mood of the other wolf. He was sending messages for the Gammas and the scouts to keep away from them in case Darius ended up being affected by insanity right now. It's just that Darius still opened his eyes and turned in a direction.

"I can smell them… too far… fresh blood…" Darius's voice was soft, but Nicholai could hear him pretty well. When the pack mother dashed to a spot, Nicholai did the same. 

Even if the strategy was reckless, the two Alphas still relied on their primal hunger to hunt down the dying humans. Soon enough, Darius found the first few corpses that were swept by the landslide. His huge nose tried to find the scent of little girls, but he couldn't find anything at all. He then ran off further away as if a trail was now found.
