Chapter 164: A Wedding

Even if he was promised to see Domino personally, Darius just busied himself with the preparations of the kitchen brigade for the wedding. Instead of doing everything on the morning before the full moon, Darius and the Kitchen Matron decided to make use of overnight tactics for some dishes. 

Since they would be catering to hundreds—possibly thousands—in the humongous wedding banquet, Millicent also advised Darius to move all the cooking to the other two days. On the day itself, they only needed to think about serving them on the beautified platters on the skirted tables for the food.

For some reason, Enzo didn't know why the wedding felt like it was being organized by Nicholai's wolves instead. He often caught Darius speaking to his Beta and to Ansel, even when he was outside the kitchen to deal with other matters. This low-class Alpha was only supposed to be cooking; why did he suddenly decide to help the pack mother?
