Chapter 134: 7.23 Lies

Cillian spent the day at the estate when his parents forbade him to go out or work. He was surprised as no one had ever forbidden him anything before.

Sensing their concern, he decided to stay home, and Lucas took the day off to keep him company. When it was time for dinner, they joined Cillian's parents in the dining room.

Espen sat at the head of the table with Camila on his right, and Cillian took a seat on his left, with Lucas beside him. With determination, Cillian announced, "Tomorrow I'm going to work."

Camila, who had been smiling, frowned and asked, "Can't you take a few days off?"

Cillian replied, "There's a board meeting, and I have to be there. It concerns my game. Once I'm done with everything I have to deal with, I'll take a breath."

Curious, Espen asked, "What's going on?"

Cillian responded, "We'll talk after dinner," and Espen and Camila nodded in agreement.
