Noah immediately went to his father's home office and saw that his mother was there too. He closed the door and they both looked at him. Esther asked:

"How did it go darling?"

Noah took a seat next to his mother and asked:

"Where's Cillian?"

Esther and Josiah couldn't understand why he changed the subject but Josiah answered:

"He went to rehearse as usual."

Noah tilted his head.

"When you say he went to rehearse do you mean he secretly signed up to Pierce Melody and showed up at the audition and played the symphony I was supposed to because he went before me?"

Josiah's eyes darkened and he said incredulously:

"He didn't."

"He did, you said that I was the seventh on the list but Cillian was before me. Turns out the symphony he's been composing was for the audition."

Esther's eyes turned red.

"He dared to when we made it clear that he was to wait. Who does he think he is?"
