Chapter 7: Becoming a Teacher
" Another special grade becoming a teacher. Did Gojo put you up to this? " Gakuganji asked, walking with Naoya down the halls of the Kyoto Jujutsu Teh, the sister school of Tokyo Jujutsu Tech.
" Nope. He merely suggested it and I took it under consideration. After all, what else am I supposed to do now? " Naoya asked, shrugging his shoulders, wearing his Jujutsu uniform.
" You could become clan head. You are stronger than Naobito and could beat him easily to gain the title. " Gakuganji said.
" True. But I don't care for the clan in the slightest. " Naoya replied.
" Like father, like son. " Gakuganji said.
" In some aspects. " Naoya specified.
" Well, here are your students. " Gakuganji said, as he and Naoya stood in front of the Kyoto students.
The current second and first-year students looked at Naoya in surprise. They were informed by Utahime, their teacher, that they would get another teacher, but none of them expected Naoya Zenin to be their teacher.
Momo turned her head towards Mai, whose face drained of color upon seeing a ranking member of the Zenin clan here. Momo was displeased, knowing what Mai had to go through, she wasn't pleased. But that can't be said for the other students, Aoi Todo in particular was grinning at the prospect that his new teacher was the new special grade that stood a fighting chance against Gojo.
" Hello everyone. My name is Zenin Naoya, I'm doing this because I'm bored and was given clearance because of my status as a special grade. What are your names? " Naoya introduced.
" That's why you became a teacher?! " Utahime exclaimed.
" Yes! " Naoya countered. " I mean what else do I can I do to pass the time? Most of my time was spent training and now I'm a special grade, whose only goal now is to gain a domain expansion. "
" Couldn't you have become the Zenin clan head? " Utahime questioned.
" Probably, unless that old fart had some backup plan that doesn't allow me to become clan head. Even if I did, what would I do with that position? " Naoya asked.
" Make our lives worse. " Mai muttered quietly.
" Well... Oh no wait, that's a stupid idea. " Utahime said.
" You were going suggest that I should try changing the clan for the better, didn't you? " Naoya asked.
" Yep. But that's a stupid idea that wouldn't work. " Utahime said.
" Excuse me!! " Aoi Todo yelled at the top of his lungs, gaining the attention of everyone present.
" Sorry, but that conversation was getting boring! My name is Todo Aoi and I am a second year! Zenin sensei, I have an important question for you. What kind of woman do you like!!? " Todo bellowed from his heart and soul.
" What? " Naoya asked, puzzled by the out-of-pocket question.
" It can be a man too, I don't mind. " Todo declared.
" First off, just refer to me by my first name. Second, I like a tall woman with a nice ass. " Naoya answered.
" You're my new favorite teacher. " Todo answered, tears of joy rolling down his face.
" Well, that's one down. What about the rest of you? " Naoya asked, pointing to the other students.
" Kamo Noritoshi. Second year. I have a question for you Naoya sensei. Regarding your clan, is it because you don't care, or is it because you see the entire process as futile? " Noritoshi asked.
" A bit of both, though I admit it's also because of how I was born. I'm the son of the clan head and was treated well because I had talent. Me becoming clan head to "change" the ways of the clan doesn't work because I haven't been in the shoes of those who actually want change due to actual suffering. It's also because I really do not want to be in charge of any of them anymore. They were a pain. " Naoya answered.
" I see. Thank you sensei. " Noritoshi said.
" I'm Miwa Kazumi, a first-year, and if it's alright, I have a favor to ask Sensei. Can you help me get a selfie with Gojo Satoru? " Miwa asked.
" Really? " Momo asked, looking at Miwa.
" Don't worry, you'll get your chance. He'll probably show up a few times and you can ask him then. " Naoya said.
" Okay! " Miwa gushed, while Naoya felt annoyed as he sensed a familiar presence.
" I'm Mechmaru. Quick question sensei. By few times, did you mean now? " Mechamaru asked pointing towards his left, holding a piece sign behind Utahime's head.
" Really!? " Utahime yelled upon seeing him.
" Yes. Speaking of which, why aren't you done with introductions? " Satoru asked.
" Why do want me to punch you? " Naoya asked with a raised eyebrow.
" Gojo sensei! What kind of woman do you like!? " Todo yelled.
" Gojo sensei, can you we do a selfie? " Miwa asked.
" What the fuck is happening? " Momo questioned.
" This is fucking pathetic. " Mai said. "Let's go. "
With that, both of them left while everyone else was caught up in the chaos, following in the footsteps of Principal Gakuganji who had left after bringing Naoya to the students.
" Naoya, you promised to spar with me. So let's fight. " Satoru declared, after taking a selfie with Miwa who danced with joy at her accomplishment, showing it off to Todo who congratulated her on her success. He knows that feeling well.
" Fine. I can speak to the rest of the students later. " Naoya said.
" Will you be fighting here, at full strength? " Mechmaru asked.
" Absolutely not. " Naoya shot down. " If we did that, this crazy bastard would destroy the entire place. "
" That's only if you dodge, so take the hit like a man to keep damages to a minimum. " Satoru demanded.
" No. " Naoya responded, brilliant comeback.
" Do you really have to fight here? can't you do it at the Tokyo branch? They at least have insurance to cover any Satoru Gojo-related destruction. " Utahime pleaded.
" Wait, that shit exists! I thought that was just Yaga making fun of me! " Gojo said.
" Nope, it's real. " Naoya sighed. " But whatever, let's just spar. "
" We can fight now!? " Gojo asked excitedly.
" Yes, Satoru. We are going to fight. "
