when my father sold everything from Masindi district ,we had to travel back to where he was born and that district was called Napak district .
Napak district is one of the district that make up or it's part of karamoja region
The journey started a 6:00am and reached at 6:00pm
(Let me first of all tell you about karamoja region or as atribe,
People who stay in karamoja are called karamojongs , they are cattle keepers and and they carry out some small farming like sorghum ,maize and sun flower
So by then and up to now there is always what I can cattle rustling in karamoja
We reached karamoja in 20/10/2002
When we reached their we were given abig welcome and they slaughtered one cow us wow it was amazing Superb!
When one week past life became difficult on my side and other brothers of mine cause their was no place to around( I mean most children in the village where carrying guns aged, 13 and above and those who were aged 5 to12 where meant to rear cattles
One people could be having like 1,000 cows and 500 goats by then
But cattle rustling was the only problem in karamoja so many people lost they lives because of cattle rustling ,
I got used to be seeing people dying every day, young children, women and men ,
Gun sounds became like that of pop corn but we could only pray to the Almighty
MY parents were not amoung the cattle rustling and we had no cows or chicken
Cause he wanted us to go to school than becoming one of the warriors ( cattle rustling
