Chapter 45: Attack
While Selena was imagining every way possible to murder the person that gave Kanzaki cameras to place in his house Kanzaki was sitting while glancing out the window that led to his porch. Since his apartment was higher up it came with a balcony he could sit on and use to look out into the city which he used quite often when he needed fresh air or just to relax but at this moment the minutes were just counting down.
He didn't want to be rude and look at his phone during such an intense situation but at the same time, Selena seemed to be in her own world so Kanzaki didn't want to bother her at all in case she was having an emotional moment and didn't need him. So what he did for the remaining time was stare out the window enjoying the sight of all the lights all over the city, 'It's quite beautiful." Kanzaki thought to himself.
As they were waiting there was a sudden knock on the door that brought both Selena and Kanzaki out of their thoughts, "Is anyone home?!" A voice shouted from the outside of the door. Kanzaki thought the voice was slightly familiar but decided to ignore it due to the excitement of the police finally arriving.
"I will get the door." Kanzaki said while looking at Selena. She gave him the thumbs up out of reflex since anything Kanzaki asked her she would agree to without any hesitation at all but as he was walking over to the door she suddenly had the thought that the person who gave Kanzaki the cameras could have come back after seeing that the feed went out.
It would be better for him to check the peep hold first but since he was so excited he forgot to and reached for the doorknob to open the door, "Wait-!" Selena shouted but it was too late to stop Kanzaki since he had already twisted the knob and opened the door.
When Kanzaki did this he still had a happy expression on his face until he saw who was standing at the door. The face left Kanzaki stunned since he knew the person, "Landon? What are you doing here?" Kanzaki asked in confusion when he saw the person he met at the gym Landon standing at his front door with a backpack on.
When Landon saw Kanzaki answer the door he looked up with a smile, "Good to see you as well Kanzaki and I think I should definitely be here since my wife is inside your apartment." Landon said with a smile still plastered on his face.
When Kanzaki heard the word wife he became confused for a moment since he didn't remember having Landon's wife in his apartment since he would have made it a point to not get involved with her since he thought Landon was so weird but the more he thought about it the more he realized what was happening.
'His wife?' Kanzaki thought over and over again until he turned toward Selena who was still sitting on the couch. When he looked at her she had the most shocked and slightly scared expression on her face that Kanzaki had ever seen. It was a little scary how scared she was but also surprised.
At that moment it dawned on him that Landon was Selena's husband but at the same time he was the abuser that they had just called the police about. He was the reason for Selena's sadness but in addition to that Kanzaki realized Landon had the exact same body size as the man that gave him his smoke detector. Also, Kanzaki never told Landon where he lived in the first place so the only way he would know that and that Selena was there would be through cameras.
"Hold o-" Before Kanzaki could fully turn around to begin questioning Landon Kanzaki suddenly felt a very strong pain in his head.
"AGHHH!" Kanzaki shouted in agony as he was hit with something hard by Landon. The blow might have knocked him out if not for the fact that he moved his head to turn back toward Landon. When Kanzaki was hit he was pushed back and ended up on the ground which made him look up toward Landon in fear.
In Landon's hand, he had a tiny baton that had small blood stains on it, "I use this to train my little pets and toys that I bring to my house. Of course, I will make an exception this time since it's a special circumstance and will discipline you here. I've been waiting a long time Kanzaki~" Landon said with a strange smile as he walked toward Kanzaki while holding up the baton.
Kanzaki was stuck in fear as he watched Landon inch his way closer. Landon's thoughts and intentions were very clear at this point and Kanzaki wanted nothing to do with it. He would rather go out swinging than just take whatever Landon had in store for him.
With this thought in mind, Kanzaki stood up as quickly as he could while Landon was making his advances. Landon knew exactly what Kanzaki was doing and let him do it since he liked his prey to fight back. It added a flavor that he enjoyed more than anything else besides taking their first time.
"Let's see what you got Kanzaki~ Make sure to fight back as hard as you can otherwise I might just take you for myself~" Landon said while licking the side of his baton. When Landon did this Kanzaki glanced toward Selena momentarily to see what she was doing but when he looked over she was nowhere to be found! Not a single trace of her was present in the room but Kanzaki couldn't think about that long since another pain assaulted the side of his stomach.
"Don't take your eyes off your attacker silly~" Landon said laughing as Kanzaki screamed in agony from the sudden hit in the side.
