Chapter 288: Newsworthy

Kelly was sitting on the couch in the living room with her eyes glued to her television. She was watching the morning news to learn more about the city. But instead of talking about crime or politics or the miraculous breakthroughs in medical facilities, the newscaster was going on and on about the Cyberblitz tournament.

With a look of annoyance on her face, Kelly swiped right. The motion sensors on the television immediately picked up her gesture and switched to the next channel. 

This time, it wasn't the news, but a sports channel that was showing the highlights of the last round of the Cyberblitz qualifiers. Kelly quickly swiped thrice to change to another news channel.

A reporter dressed in a long black skirt paired with a magenta-pink suit was out on the streets asking questions to random bystanders and shoppers.
