Chapter 244: An adamant defense (2)

The ALCV's minigun whirred into action before Kevin could get out of the way. With his segmented armor plates ripped to shreds by the grenade barrage, his exoskeleton was now vulnerable to all projectiles.

As the automatic minigun started firing on Kevin's lightly armored alloy body, he deployed his titanium armor flaps to deflect the projectiles. It offered him some protection against the bullet storm, but the sheer impact pushed him back.

He somehow held his ground, but couldn't move an inch forward. All Kevin could do was wait for the minigun to run out of bullets.

Ravi noticed Kevin's plight and quickly picked up a new WASP launcher. Aiming for the ALCV, he fired all the mini-missiles simultaneously. He expected the attack vehicle to be blown to pieces, but the energy shield surrounding it absorbed the impact from the explosions, leaving the ALCV unharmed.
