The sight of Damien convulsing will forever haunt Rhys.

Watching Damien sleep in the hospital bed, with tubes attached to his body, was a sight he had been seeing for two months now , yet nothing could have prepared him for the immense amount of pain he felt seeing him convulsing today.

All his life Damien had been the one protecting him and now while his brother was hurting he couldn't do anything to help him. 

He couldn't help but feel guilty. 

Why?

Why was he the one who had to suffer? 

He didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve the pain.

His brother might be evil to others but for him he was one of the lights in his life along with Beatrix.

All his life Damien had wanted nothing but to escape the harsh reality of his life.
