She looked from Benjamin to Luciana, wild disbelief in her eyes.

"Benjamin can you please for the love of God!" Lucian screeched.

Benjamin stared back at her with a calm expression. "It's important she knows everything."

Annalise didn't believe it, not even for a second. There was no way Nicolás would know about this and not tell her, not when he knew how imperative it was to her that she knew. He had refused to help but she was certain if he knew who her parents were, if he had any idea about it he would have told her in a bid to fill up that empty part of her heart.

He wasn't as cruel as he was thought to be and she knew for certain that he cared about her and that was all that mattered to her. He loved her and he wouldn't hide something like this from her, not in this life, not ever.
