Chapter 42: Chapter 41: The Restriction and the Challenge

After Imelda returned to the kitchen to cook, Ryan opened his mind link to contact John. 'Come to my house now.'

John was in the middle of training, so he replied, 'I'll come to your house later, Father.'

'No, I said now!'

John kicked the wall as he was upset with his father but knew he couldn't ignore his father's order. So, John went to Ryan's house. He didn't wait for long when Ryan came to the living room. 

"I heard from Imelda that you want to avenge the pup's death."

John frowned as his father didn't respect his mate. Although Sophia was dead, still, she was his mate. "Sophia, my mate was Sophia."

"Yes, the pup."

"Father, she had a name. Her name was Sophia."

"Whatever. So, when will you carry out your plan?"

John blew his breath. "Three or six months from now."

"No!"

"What do you mean by 'no'? If someone killed Ma Imelda, would you delay avenging her death?"
