Chapter 27: Chapter 26: Persuasion

Later, Zealous searched for Giselda then both of them went to his place. He kissed her lips after they were inside. 

"What happened?" Giselda asked while touching Zealous's face. 

"Mommy has forgiven me. I …" Zealous stopped talking and took a deep breath as what Viona did was impressive and touched his heart. "I have never guessed she forgave me since I killed her husband." Then Zealous bent his head and hugged Viona tightly, so she didn't see his tears. 

"Mommy is a fantastic she-wolf indeed. She accepted me as her daughter too."

"Yes …." Then Zealous kissed Giselda's hair. "I never thought I'd say this, but our mommy gave me a family." He gulped because there was a lump in his throat. "I'll protect her from the Alpha whatever the cost."

"What do you mean?" Giselda pushed Zealous's chest a little so she could gaze at his eyes. 

"Mommy told me about Alpha Jock trying to rape her …."
