Synopsis
Liu Yan, a prodigious young chef with a bizarre ability to taste emotions, suffered from a terminal illness with little time remaining. A system came to her out of the blue, offering to prolong her life, but the catch was… she had to open her own restaurant first.
Suddenly, her life started to change.
Now, she had a little adorable cub to raise.
A new restaurant where customers could have their wishes granted by tossing a coin into a strange fish jar.
And a gentle and kind kindergarten teacher whose smile was as warm as sunshine, for whom she was willing to cook for her entire life.
So, what kind of flavour would Liu Yan taste in her brand-new life?

Write a reviewso, I was still at chapter 3 but I can already tell the next chapters is going to be great. Not too fast development and well controlled character personalities, not like few other novels I read in Webnovel or even Wattpad where... the protagonist was supposed to be 'cool, calm, and cool headed' then in the next seconds the protagonist turned into blushing mess just because of a few teasings...😫no offense but it's just awful. The author has the way in words that keeps you from getting bored. I wouldn't say the story is the one that makes my blood boils and quickly get on with next chapter after reading the current one considering this is supposed to be a healing novel. But the current plot was enough for me to patiently read the story with my head in my pillow, chilling and ready to be healed😌 And oh, This novel has a strong Chinese style, god how I very much love Chinese novels that make sense compared to Wattpad stories ( I mean Wattpad isn't that bad before but I don't know know what happened now😅, or is it just me idk for others) ( I think a few are just satisfying their fetishes in a form of novels with how lemons half occupying their story) so, all in all it's just my cup of tea ☕
haeres nothing to say i just want to add review cuz i liked the story -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I read this too fast. The writhing style is nice, the translation is pretty good as well. Of course, there are some gender switches sometimes but that’s a small issue. When I got to the end of the 16th ch, I was kinda sad. I honestly thought there would be more. I hope this updates soon! The niece and aunt pair are adorable!! It started out a bit sad, since it starts right after a tragedy. However, it turns the corner to bright and warm very fast. This novel goes quite detailed into the description of food/how it is prepared. I’m not sure how accurate it is since I’m not a good cook. So, if you’re not into descriptive food preparations then this might not be for you.
I really recommend this novel , it's kawaii adorable and sweet story 💮🌸🌸💐🌼💮💮🏵️💮🌸💐🌻🌺 very detailed and good for the everyone's taste of life for food . it's perfect and lovely 💮🌼🌸💐🌸💮🌹🌺🌺🏵️🌸🌼
I recommend every thing that this author writes. I haven’t read this yet but I know for a fact that it’ll be good since I love this author so much. You should read it too.
Great read so far really sweet book overall wish there was more yuri aspect tho, but still can’ complain too much on a great read. ❤️😊
The story is good, well written. Before I continue my review IM AN INPATIENT MF!!!. And that’s because the story is really good but I really want the yuri part to come Quick
It's okay though I think it's not for me. The plot is too relaxing for my taste and nothing happens much. The characters are good though and you can't help but to root for them. They also have their sweet moments, which is the thing I like about this story.
the story is really good. its just that there's a lot of repeating words and word mistake like auntie to uncle, woman to man, simple mistakes but kind of irritating to read. lol, i hope the chapters will be edited soon.
Reading the cooking process, food, and its taste is described/written makes me hungry. Keep it up![img=recommend][img=recommend][img=update][img=update][img=update]
Absolutely beautiful. This heals the soul. So much cuteness with the occasional sadness in between makes this a very emotional read where you either cry or smile or both.
This is really fun to read and there aren't any glaring grammatical errors. Kinda reminds me of A Stay-at-home Dad's Restaurant In An Alternate World if you only read the cooking parts.
though there is sadness, it is definitely a warm and very comforting story. makes me appreciate life and food more! 🥰
this is a good book, it fills a niche of heartwarming family that I absolutely adore. it needs an editor though, real bad. it's not even written badly, just has a lot of errors that eventually bug you.
I really like this story and all there is to read but I do hope that the author do something about his use of noun and pronoun because I am confused and don't understand some of the sentences. Don't get me wrong that I am not saying the author has some grammatical error but it is the opposite, the author only misuses the pronoun and sometimes the noun...

I really like this story, it's adorable and relaxing with a mix of warm and a bit of sadness, overall it's a great novel with a one kind and unique story you will not find elsewhere so I really recommended it.
