"Gramps?" she said softly, catching his attention.

Abraham turned to face her, his sharp eyes softening when they landed on her. "Lady Wilhelmina," he greeted with a respectful nod. "Is something the matter?"

She shook her head, trying to keep her voice steady. "No, I... I was just wondering where Lyan is. I need to speak with him."

Abraham regarded her for a moment, his gaze seeming to pierce through the surface of her calm exterior. He always had a way of knowing when something was weighing on her mind, and yet, he never pried. "He's in the war room," he said simply, his tone gentle. "Shall I accompany you?"

Wilhelmina smiled, shaking her head. "Thank you, but I can find him myself." She hesitated for a moment, then added, "You're always so kind, Gramps. Thank you for everything."

Abraham's lips twitched upward in a barely-there smile, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "It is my duty and my pleasure, Lady Wilhelmina. Always."
