"Time flies fast. It still feels like yesterday I found out that there was a child growing inside of me and Lilith was sneaking me souls to eat. Now you are all grown up and about to become queen. Nervous?" Amelia asked, walking closer to Mara as the maids continued to get her dressed for the big day.

"Now that I am not standing before a large crowd, I am not nervous. Standing before the people as I move from princess to queen will change that," Mara answered. 

"You don't need to look down at the crowd often. Look away when you start to feel nervous. That is what I used to do when I was younger. I still do it now. Trust me, when you get out there, you won't feel as you do now," Amelia promised.
