Chapter 40: 40

"Ugh", Ayla mumbled in her sleep. Her face looks as if she is in a lot of pain.

"Did you bring cold water?" Kylie asked.

"Yeah I did", Jenny placed the cold water down beside the bed while Kylie started placing it above Ayla's head.

"Ugh… Don't…please", Ayla kept mumbling.

"Just what happened to her?"

"I have never seen her so miserable but today she looked so bad. As soon as I opened the door she fell to the floor while her body was burning like fire."

"Yeah I know but we can't do anything unless she opens her eyes and expresses her feelings."

"But her fever kept on growing?" Kylie said.

"Should I call her a family member?" Jenny asked.

"You sure?"

"Why not?"

"You already know what happened the other day and what if something happened again when she is almost dying with fever?"

"But what if she dies without getting treatment?"

"No no, I will better call them before something happens", Jenny said and dialled their number while Kylie took care of her.
