Lian wondered if she was patient with her job at all, though.

Asfrika continued, "Three days is the most time I can give you. If you take more than that, I'll use your blood instead. Your blood alone should be a good addition to any medicine, so it should act as a good test for this scroll's recipe. That's definitely faster."

Lian still shook his head, though. "What's impossible is impossible. Do you have any idea how long it takes for drugs to be developed back in my world? Years! Maybe decades! Not to mention I'm not exactly someone who worked on creating them. I want at least one month! And that's because I can use my elemental affinities to feel the elements in the herbs and other items. Also, you'll have to show me the process of creating this medicine, or there's no deal."
