I was coming down the stairs and my gaze narrowed at the blonde lady, staring at me. From my perspective, she looked so much like Brian but I had already met Irene and I've never heard that Brian had another sister.

I wasn't in the best mood but I had to manage a smile and acted like I was fine to avoid looking upset and cranky.

I ambled towards her and plopped on the sofa, a little away from where she was seated.

The lady cleared her throat. "You know who I am, right?" she gestured at herself and I shook my head in response.

She feigned annoyance. "Really? How can you not recognize your husband's sister? Didn't you get a glimpse of our resemblance?" she asked, peering at Brian.

I was very much surprised that Brian had another sister besides Irene but because my mood wasn't at its best, I didn't care to ask any questions.
