Chapter 63: I Think This Is Eloping

When Ian saw that I didn't respond, he had to repeat his question, "Will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes!" I excitedly put my hand on my pounding heart, "What's going on? Are we really getting married? I mean, is this eloping?"

"Now, you are my wife!" Ian said as he slipped the ring on my finger. "You are mine, forever!"

"I never thought we would get married here!" I looked around. Everything here seemed strange, but it was so real. It was like a dream!

"I know. Although it's a little shabby here!" Ian said slightly apologetically, "It's very quiet here and far away from the palace. No one will find us. So you don't have to feel scared and uneasy. You're safe now. You're with me!"
