Chapter 17: Chapter 017
"What?" I stared at the sky in shock. "Are you serious?" I mumbled.
"Here the thing! As I was watching over you and a bunch of other humans, I of course tried my best to keep track of the man and women. And it seems they found other people with the same hobby of disrespecting human life." Michael said
I look towards Aki and tell her what Michael just told me. "Actually I've known for a little awhile actually…"
I stood there stunned. Then I walked out the door leaving Aki behind. I left the morgue and started wondering the street without a particular destination is mind. I walk past the restaurant I first met Aki in, and entered myself inside.
I sit down in the same booth I sat and started to ponder. Then Michael spoke up in my head.
"Hey… Jake I know you might be upset for not telling you that the man and women found themselves more buddy's, but we didn't really have a choice. I watched you get toss around like a monopoly game when someone lands on boardwalk every time."
I look towards the sky. "Look Michael I know you're trying to look after me. But I just keep thinking about the lives I could save if I got stronger faster… So I know in my heart you made the right decision, I just wanted to be included in the decision."
Michael sighs softly. "Fine I guess I owe you that much. It now means that your revenge might have to wait until you deal with a few of the others in their organization. The man and women added about 4 people to their ranks. You shouldn't worry about killing any of them they all deserve what's going to happen to them, trust your beautiful guardian angel."
I start smiling at Michael's joke and look around the restaurant only to see everyone staring at me. I cough loudly and start to leave in a rush.
I walk back to the morgue and see Aki sitting down reading a magazine. "Took you long enough, making me wait is gonna cost you."
I start sweating and trembling. I don't think she has the skill bloodlust so why do I feel like this again??? "A-Aki please have some mercy even I don't think my body can handle that kind of punishment again."
She looks me in the eyes and smiles. I sweat even harder resigning myself to the punishment I'm going to have to endure later.
"Thanks for waiting for me Aki I'm ready to get our plan into action."
"Sigh. Ok it's quite simple actually I take on three of the new people in the organization and you Jake get to take out the man and the women who started it, also including one extra. It would be best if you deal with the extra first." Aki explained to me in detail.
"On it, but I have a question. I have an idea of what I want to do to the man and the women but the new guy I don't have anything to go on. So I hope you have something I can use my beautiful angel." I said while flattering Michael.
Michael starts speaking before Aki could say anything. "We'll since you're being so nice about it and finally appreciating what I bring to the table I guess I could be kind enough to bestow my knowledge upon yourself." I scoffed realizing how easy it is when I compliment Michael.
"So the new guy who you have to kill for me is about 36 years old, brown hair, a bit on the slim side, also he has no family, and lives in an apartment alone." I nodded along as Michael kept naming things off.
"So why did he join the group? What bad things did he do?"
Michael paused, "Well… a requirement to join the group is to inflict as much pain as possible and enjoy it. So after he passed that part of the test, he told them what he does and starts his killing he ties them up and he cuts off his victims fingers and makes them eat them."
I look up at the sky disgusted at what I heard. Aki then looks at me. "I guess you know what bad shit the psychopaths do to their victims. So here my friendly advice, no mercy."
I steel my resolve. "Aki… it's going to be great working with you.
