Chapter 37: The Mystic Valley

Red POV.

[Mystic Valley]

"Finally! This is the land where my mother was born..." I uttered while looking at the sign on the side of the road.

"Technically, we have not yet reached the village since it is still ten kilometers away from here," Drake explained and leaned against the plank to rest for a moment.

He's still in trouble because the wound hasn't healed yet. Fortunately, his body can quickly adapt to the pain.

"Maybe we should rest first? Ten kilometers is no joke..." I suggested and looked around to find a place to rest. Earlier, Drake treated me so well that I got the courage to give a suggestion.

[A resting place in the distance caught my attention. It's an open shed with a wooden seat.]

"I think we are safe there," I utter while pointing the shed at Drake.
