Chapter 29: Trap And Truth

Alpha Frederick could not wait for Jake's explanation. Seeing the body of his pack member flying all over the place, he decided to intervene in the fight.

"That's enough!" Alpha Frederick roared as he blocked Drake's claws digging into the chest of one of the pack members.

"...So you show up," Drake remarks, smirking.

[The members of the pack distance themselves from Alpha Frederick and Drake.]

"Is this the new way to greet the son of the previous alpha?" Drake asked sarcastically before punching Alpha Frederick in the chest.

The impact of the punch is too strong; that's why Alpha Frederick is down to his knees.

"…Seems you learn how to punch properly," Alpha Frederick said while standing up. Instead of being scared, he felt relief.

Drake's smile became terrifying as his black eyes blazed with anger. It looks like my humanity will be shut down again- He uttered while holding back his anger.
