Chapter 4: The Surprise
The next morning I woke up ,thinking that everything that had happend the day before was a dream.But the same thing bothered me throughout the day.
I always thought about ,how he smiled at the bus stop that day and said good bye to me.The whole day was shrouded in dark clouds ,confirming that my suffering was getting worse.
To get rid of it, I lay in the bed listening to lot of sad songs.It hurt me even more.I never thought I would feel the pain of one-sided love this much.I began to sigh.
"Hey, Ji yoo-ah.What are you doing?" suddenly Yeon came to the room.
"Ahh...nothing.What do you want?"I replied with a sad voice.
"Mmmm....I've been staring at you these days.It seems you've been dumped by someone."Yeon's sound is soo sarcastic .
"W-H-A-T....What did you say?"My words began to tingle with embarrassment.
"Ohooo....now it's sure.Dumper....looser..... Jiyoo..... Dumper." She rhythmically shouted.
"Hey.....what did you mean....stupid girl" I got out of bed and chased after her.She ran out of the room and stuck her tongue out at me.
"Oh no....Is really I'm dumped?" I asked from myself by sitting infront of the mirror.
'Wait a minute' I eagerly looked on the mirror .'My face really looks prettier than that girl,even without make-up ' I thought.So why did he liked her that much?
"Ottoke .....Ottoke ..." unable to figure it out,I messed up my hair.
Finally I realized, why I was crying for someone who didn't even think about me.Love is just one aspect of life,but there are so many things other than that.So I can handle this.I'm not a looser anymore.He is the unfortunate one.Okay now it's enough.I've already wasted a day and a half thinking about this.
I took a deep breath and walked out of the room like I was stepping into a new world.Yeon was watching TV.
"Hey.... where is mom?" I asked.
Ooo....our dumper has came.So tell me who is the guy?" Yeon began to bother me,reviving old memories.
"Aish....What are you talking about?I just feel bad,because of my favourite series end with a cliffhanger ." I said that because her mind changes when she hears the word 'series'.
Actually she is a drama addicter."Oh Ji yoo-ah , What is it? Tell me please ,please ....." she began to beg.
"Ahhh....it's a new drama of Jae-yung"Again I lied to get rid of her.
"Omo....is there a new drama of him?When it started to telecast?" Yeon asked me with a curious expression .
"Hey.... stop.I just asked where is the mom? So tell me first." I shouted .
"Aaa...She went to the market.Also she said, she has a suprise for you." Yeon told me while facing at the tv.
" Surprise ???" I asked.
"Yeh" Yeon replied without any expression.
I also joined with her and watch the TV."Mmmm.....see there are two girls ,who have interest on the same guy" she explained the ongoing series.
"Oh .....then is it a love triangle?"I asked curiously.
"Ahhh.... not at all.This guy fall with one ,but other girl has a secret crush on him." She replied.
"W-h-a-t?" I Shocked with her reply.
"Actually I think she is an idiot.She has misunderstood the boy.Silly day dreamer." Yeons words hurt me a lot.
"Why....What the hell are you talking, Can't she fall for him like that? She also has a right to love him." I cried ,hence I felt that girl also same as me.
"Oh .... Why are you so upset? I didn't knew that, you're sooo much sensitive for dramas like this." Yeon smiles at me."Yehh....Yehh... I'm such a empathetic fan."I said to hide my feelings from her.
"Hey... do you know, Jae yung -ah is hoping to study in a academic college."Yeon changed the topic.
"Oh really? He is still in my age ,but see he earns a lot than a professional artist.Ahhh.... It feels me as a looser."I said with a sigh.
"Oh yeh ... we have no any chance to study there.Because it's too expensive.So don't worry Unni, you will be able to enter a government university" Yeon comforted me.
"Mmm.... I think same.But the competition for them also too much.And I'm not satisfied with strict academic rules of such universities." I said with sad mood.
"Hmmm...let's see how our destiny help us." by her response I realized actually she is mature than me.
Ring...Ring....Ring...
The bell rang.I ran towards the door."Ta-da....." mom handed me an envelope.
"What's this mom?"I asked while opening it.
"It's a little gift for Our Ji yoo"mom's face is over joying.
"W-h-a-t? OMG mom !!!!! It's unbelivable" I really really suprised by seen it.
"A application for Yenghuwa college!!!!!" I said with a cheerful voice.
Yenghuwa is a top academic college in Seoul.It contains many streams such as Economics,Arts,Chemistry and computer science.Othe than these it was one of my biggest dream in my life.
"Oh mom ...you're the best mom in entire universe" I jumped and hugged her tightly.
"Ohh...dear ... not only me,dad too help me for this." mom replied while kissing my forehead.
"Hey... what's going on?" Yeon came out from the TV room."Oh..Yeon-ah do you want to hear this,I'm going to study in Yenghuwa!!!"" I shouted loudly .Yeon's mouth turned to ' O' shape.
"W-h-a-t? .....Really.. Are you kidding with me?"She also asked again and again with a surprise mind.
"Hey...see.. I got a admission too" I show the application to her.
"OMG!!!! I'm really jelous.Do you know most of celebrity teens too studying there...." she said with widening eyes.
"Ahh... don't be jelous,you also study hard as her.Then we will give you too a chance."mom said with a smiliy face.
"By the way we want to celebrate this,Isn't it girls??" mom asked.
"Ohh yehh..let's go for a dinner out!" Yeon suggested.
"Mmm...yes sure" mom approve her request."Yeh..."Yeon and me responed it by hugging each other with loud laugh.

Next morning I wake up with a very satisfied mind."Ji yoo-ah come quickly.Here the dad is calling for you" mom shouted.I get out of the bed and ran for the phone.
"Good morning honey" dad's voice always warm my heart."oh... very good morning to you daddy.And thank you.....thank you.... very...much."My words tingles with happiness.
"Oh dear it just a little push up for you."
"Oh dad don't say like that.It's a lot for me,love you sooo much.I said dearly.
"Oh you're going to make me cry.Good luck for the first day.Take care my dear." 'He's words are always lovelier than other dads.Actually my dad is soo sweet.' I thought.
"Take care too daddy".I replied ,So dad hung up the phone.
The first day.....Oh god!!! I forgot that.I need to be ready. "Honey hurry up we want to go there at 1 O'clock." I heard mom's voice.
Oh it's seven...I quickly ran to the barthroom.

Few hours later we started the journey."Oh mom...I'm sooo...nervous about the interview." I looked at Mom.
"Oh dear don't be afraid.You can do it.It's simple." Her voice encourages my restless mind.
"Mhmmm.....surely you will be uneasy"Then yeon said.
"Why ..... why's that?" mom asked sharply."Oh mom don't you know there are Smart kids with amazing intelligence and talents, so how will she get along with them!!!"
"Aish shut up! Our Ji yoo can handle this smartly than others." Mom yelled .
After few hours we came to seoul." Woooow...Seoul" I whispered to myself.I felt that the Seouls wind was welcoming me.
"Hey...Yenghuwa"Yeon shouted.
"Oh yes...mom look that's it." I said with a suprised voice.Mom look at us and smiled a little while turning the car to the other side
Oh finally we came closer to the entrance of Yenghuwa.It was covered with huge silvercarved gate.
"So ,good luck dear" mom kissed me and hug me.
"Yes...good luck Unni, Fighting!!!" Yeon wished too with a bright face.I got out of the car in panic.I looked at mom and Yeon again.Mom looked me in eye and told me to go.I took a deep breath and walk forward.As I approached, the gate opened automatically.I took the first step and looked around.
"Wow..." I whispered involuntarily.
