Chapter 214: The Proposal

"This box wasn't here when I was leaving for the spa," Ava said as she walked to the coffee where the box was sitting, Layla and Maddie were behind her.

Ava opened the box and found a beautiful red velvet dress sitting inside it.

She gasped as she brought out the dress from the box. It was a short knee-length dress with a slit in front.

"Wow, this is beautiful," Maddie said.

"It indeed is," Layla said, she reached inside the box and brought out a note. Ava took the note from her and read it.

The note read,

"I saw this beautiful dress and I thought it will look good on you, so I got it for you.

See you by 7."

"Okay, I have to give it to your husband, he sure does know how to make a woman feel special," Layla said smiling.

"He sure does," Maddie said as she read the note herself. She reached inside the box and brought pretty black stiletto strap sandals.
