Chapter 199: Brad (2)

Mason stood staring at Brad. How do you tell someone that you are his son?

What was he supposed to say? "Hey Dad, Helen was my mother and you are my dad?"

Mason was a little bit confused as he stared at Brad.

"Young man, did you know Helen?" Brad asked again.

"Yes. I knew Helen, she was my mother," Mason said, his eyes not leaving Brad's.

The moment those words left Mason's lips Brad shot up from his chair.

"You are Helen's son?" He asked.

He was about the same height as Mason. His eyes scanned Mason from head to toe.

"Yeah, I am."

Brad brought his eyes to Mason's face. "I don't get it, why are you here? What do you want to talk to me about?"

"My grandparents told me you and my mother used to date way back before she got married."

At the mention of his grandparents, Brad's countenance quickly changed. He clearly still hates them for what they did.
