Chapter 93: Layla

It was in the middle of the night, and the voices of people arguing woke her up. As always her parents were at it again.

Layla placed one of her pillows over her head trying to drown out the noise as she heard the sound of something crashing, she was quite sure her mother must have thrown something at her husband like she always does whenever they were having a heated argument.

Layla wondered what the issue could be, this time around.

It wasn't unusual for her parents to argue this late at night. They always did that almost all the time, and now it has become a part of their nightly routine, especially when they come back from most of the outrageous events that they attend together.
