Meanwhile standing behind him, Hazel still remembered the curly, blonde haired centaur, with a black horse as the second half of his body. He was the first centaur Hazel met before.

He was here again, he seemed to be a kind of spokesperson for them or maybe a beta? Hazel was not sure if the centaurs had any ranking system.

She stayed close to Micah, as he talked to Charos. He didn't introduce her as his mate officially, but one could tell that from the way he held her. There was a tacit understanding between them.

After a short greeting and a few questions back and forth, Charos finally led them to where they lived. Hazel remembered the place was deep into the forest, where trees so huge and high canopied above them, blocking the bright sky.

Woodsy scent filled the air as they went deeper into the forest and Hazel liked it.
