Hazel should have guessed that she would wake up with Gaia nagging under her breath and trying to make things difficult for her.

It seemed the warning from Jaxon and also whatever their parents told her didn't have much effect on her after she found out that nothing had happened the night before when Greg and Ella returned from their holiday, which was cut short because finally Jaxon Ashdown wished to see them, though it was in an unnatural way.

"You need to wake up, why are you so lazy? You didn't even go to school yesterday!" Gaia opened the curtain and let the bright sunlight stream into the bedroom.
