Several minutes later, the firing on the opposing side became less intense.
Declan couldn't understand what was going on. Based on the retaliation they had initially faced, he assumed Sean had been prepared for the attack. It was nearly impossible that their ammunition would run out.
Could it be that most of them were killed?
