Chapter 140: Chapter 139- Standing up to the Wilsons

Declan cast a sidelong glance at her, rubbing his itchy cheek. 'How dare she slap me?' was the question that ran through his mind.

"You are responsible for this. You accused her of cheating on you without verifying anything and never contacted her for the entire month. Now you are here to show your concern for her! Where were you when she was crying? Did you come to comfort her? She must be very upset, which is why she went out of the house. You made her sad." Each word came out of her mouth as a fiery exclamation.

She inhaled and exhaled deeply a few times before saying, "We don't need your fake concern. Get out of here."

"Mind your language," a thunderous voice roared, startling everyone, including Declan.
