Chapter 21: CHAPTER 21: FINALE - CONVICTION

Alayna didn't wait for too long before the familiar portal appeared in front of her.

Mabel, seeing this strange phenomenon, stood close to Alayna, very scared of something crazy happening.

She had never seen something like this before. Although she was getting used to other things, this was completely new.

She couldn't help but be startled by it.

However, Alayna patted the girl very calmly as she said to her, "Don't fear. This is a teleportation portal which will take us home. When we go through this, we will reach home and see your siblings. So, brace yourself for me, will you?"

Mabel looked surprisingly at Alayna and then at the portal before nodding her head, "I am a strong girl!" and cheered herself full of determination.

Seeing her expression, Alayna couldn't help but smile, a wave of warmth rushing into her.

"Let's go!" she instructed the little girl as she held her hand.
