"It must be the mistake of the maids." he explained when the maid's eyes widened. 

"No, your majesty, it is not our mistake. We only served what they asked us." they kneeled on the grounds before he could speak a word.

"Your majesty…"

"Shut up!" the man gritted his teeth, "keep your mouth shut and check the dead bodies first." his eyes broiled with anger as he tried to stand up.

"The last person standing in the war is a winner." The voice came from the other side when his men ran to check the bodies.

Cedric met the cold eyes of Olivia who was leaning on the door as if she had all the leisure time of the world.

"Yet.. while I see you standing there alone on the mound of bodies, I do not find you a winner." Her lips slowly curled up in a nefarious smile. "You killed Alex too."

"I will never kill him!" Cedric snarled. "I have only ordered to kill the rest of his siblings. They made him weak."
