Her words made the people realize that they had softened their hearts due to how pitiful Mu Lan looked. Mu Lan wanted to quibble and argue back. But, she knew she was currently in the wrong, so she had to be sensible to deal with the situation.
Instead, she smiled softly and looked at Tang Wan timidly. She replied in a soft tone. "I know I was wrong."
Tang Wan nodded immediately. "It's good you know you were in the wrong. You can go to the back now."
She was indifferent and her words were sharp without giving Mu Lan any face. Mu Lan gritted her teeth inwardly. She didn't want to queue when she could directly enter. Moreover, it was too late to queue now. It would mean that she had succumbed to Tang Wan and admitted defeat.
That was one of the things she hated the most. She hated being stepped over. She was meant to be the one stepping on others and not the other way round.
