Chapter 144: Turned Circumstance

As soon as they entered the room, everyone automatically looked at Rainn with questioning eyes. But Rainn put his hands in front of the body with his palms facing them.

He did that as a gesture to tell them to be silent.

Then Rainn spoke in a whisper, "There are people following us."

They were all shocked.

"Who is that?" Vella asked in a soft tone.

Rainn could see that the look on her face was panicked now. Rainn approached Vella and said, "I don't know. Maybe the one who wanted to take the cursed weapon."

"How did they know about this location?" Aiden asked.

Rainn shook his head, "I have a strange feeling. Maybe... They're not human."

Hearing Rainn's words, they couldn't help but feel more anxious.

"How did you know about that?" Vella asked again with an increasingly worried tone.

"I just have a feeling. And this is just a possibility."
