Lord Kieran stared at his older brother in confusion, wondering what Killian was up to this time. He wasn't dumb to believe that Killian was extending an olive branch to him right now out of goodwill. While it's true that he couldn't protect Iris on his own, it didn't mean that he was willing to put Iris in a more precarious situation than she already was.

"No." He answered his older brother without hesitation. Killian smiled at him like the devil he was, taking amusement in Lord Kieran's predicament. "There's no way I will allow you to use Iris to cause havoc in this world."
