Captain Ross was momentarily stunned, watching the tires grow distant.

Finally, he realized that the sound he had heard earlier was someone sneaking up and removing the tires from his vehicle.

God damn it, removing tires! Even if you had punched through the axle, I wouldn't be surprised! First, the sneak attack and then the throwing, and all you did was come up and remove the tires?

Ross and his fellow soldiers quickly moved away from the overturned vehicle, carrying useful supplies and injured personnel. They couldn't afford any more delays. The sound of the machine gun would likely attract that monster.
