One of the best novels I have read to date. Looking forward to seeing how much more the characters will grow as the elf and the human he's adopted continue their adventures towards revenge and love.
good stuff, reminds me of other stuff that I read. fox jokes- 1-Why were the foxes hunting rabbits? Because they were in the mood for fast food! 2-Why was the artist taking a long time drawing a fox? Because he paid too much attention to de-tail.
I can’t to read more. What does he have in store for her? Please keep updating more. I am also curious about the magic you mentioned she was learning. Keep up the good work!
I've only read 5 chapters and I'm already so hooked! I love the fact that you use very little filling words and sentences and the story jumpstarts right from the first scene. I have mixed feelings about the first chapter however, I think you might need to look back at it and do a re-write because it feels very different from the general quality of the rest of your chapters. I also think you should describe what Eva feels for Hans at first sight more subtly. It feels a bit too much to say "her knees felt weak" when it was only their first meeting and they didn't even interact at all. The plot seems very interesting so far and I love the development of the storyline and how there are already plot-twists right from the start! I must also mention that I love how the MC expresses herself so well in every situation, and how you even add her internal dialogues, although some actions seem too much and some descriptions could be expressed softer. The only reason I'm not giving you a 5 star is because of the little grammatical errors here and there but that's nothing to worry about. You can always re-read and edit when you have time. Asides that, I love this story so far and I can't wait to continue reading and follow Eva's journey!
Yo! The cultured beggar is here to give appraisal~ Of course, this is only after reading the first 8 chapters(currently available chaps). Writing Quality: Superb! Aside from little to no errors, everything was good – from its flow to grammars. Particularly chapter 5? or 6? I appreciate the use of the almost perfect Motivation Reaction Units. Story Development: Intriguing! It leaves you interested on what will happen next. As long as you read the first 3 chapters, it's easy to get engrossed in reading the succeeding chapters. Character Design: Multidimensional, I must say. The dilemma, the conflict, the emotional disarray, everything was weaved at 88% to my liking! Particularly, the FL, she's like a real person; which I appreciate the most. Updating Stability: No worries! I'm a cultured beggar. I live through begging... more chapies. If the author doesn't update, I'll use my secret technique on her! World Background: Interesting! Although not the author's focus; and he/she just described it vivid enough, it was still enough to let me enter the book's world. If the author can add 10% details, the work will certainly be upgraded by a tier! Overall: This beggar has changed and was now stingy at his praises. I created a 'to read or not scale', 1 being don't read, and 10 being the most recommended. According to my overall judgement, this book scored 8/10. 8 = Great potential, and worth reading!
