Seven hours on horse ride under the scorching sun and all they were met with was a barrier at the very gates that had begun this. This was absurd and frankly overly annoying. Sure, they hadn't expected the grand welcome, but at least they could open the damned gates!

The trio was still on their horses when they were stopped by the warriors at the palace gates. The huge iron gates were the reminder that only the chosen were invited in and only those that the royals had worked for.
