Kamlyn went back into the main hall searching around if she could could catch sight of her mom. The main hall was filled with people all around, you could see all the business men forming their various circles with the aim of improving their businesses.
Checking the people in each circle carefully if she could see her parents, sighing with disappointment she decided to Walk in further into hall and keep on searching In the huge crowd.
Both the Lu's and the yang's where having a great time together after a long while, with Ethan and Olivia still in their midst.
"It is time for the dance, the CEO and his date will start the first dance by gracing the stage with their presence. And after that the others can join in." The M.C of the event announced to the guest. Stopping thier conversation mid way.
Mrs yang glanced at both Ethan and Olivia signaling them to go on stage.
Inwardly rejoicing because this was the moment she had been waiting for, She looked at Ethan with expectancy in her gaze.
Turning towards Olivia, Ethan brought his hand forward patiently waiting for Olivia to place her hands on his.
Olivia stared at his stretched out palm, not wanting to look so desperate she hesitated a little bit glancing straight at Ethan face and back to his palm she gently placed her hands in his with a shy smile on her lips.
On reaching the dance floor all eyes were on them. Placing his hands on her waist Ethan gently pulled her close to him, his eyes not moving away from hers. Bring her arm to his should and the other in his palm. When the calm music resonated in the hall they gently swayed to it.
Olivia was caught off guard by his advances, she loved the feel of his hand against her waist, her breath hitched when she was pulled by him. The proximity between them was enough for her to feel like he belongs her already.
The guest began speculating about their relationship. Knowing fully well that the CEO of Lu corporation hated being in contact with women, he has never attended any public event with any woman by his side, so they were shocked to see him arrive with the daughter of president Tang. Thinking this would only mean that they are in a relationship or something of that sort. Looking at their movement on stage thus confirming their thoughts.
Finally catching sight of her parents kamlyn rushed over to them. "Mom, Dad, uncle and aunt." She said running towards them with her gown held up a little.
"Oh my. Kamy dear is this really you?" Mrs Lu asked looking astonished at kamlyn.
"Yes aunt it's me, do you miss me?" Kamlyn said with a wide smile that reached her eyes. "Of course we missed you child come here." Mr Lu replied hugging kamlyn.
"Tell me dear how are you, how was your life abroad, you were not stressed in any way were you?." Mrs Lu asked kamlyn while checking her out.
Giggling kamlyn calmly answered all questions. "I am fine aunt, my life abroad was nice and fun.
And I didn't encounter any stress since mom and dad were with me, besides I'm back now I'm not leaving you again." she replied with a toothy smile. "That's good to hear dear."
Putting on a frown Mr yang said. "Kamy darling come to daddy."
Kamlyn went ahead to hug her father.
"Uh this jealous man. you haven't changed one bit." Mr Lu commented looking at the father and daughter pair.
"Come on, you guys already had enough touchy moments with her it's my turn Now I also miss my daughter okay.
"Rolling her eyes at her husband childish behavior miss yang quickly question kamlyn. "Kamy where have you been?"
Looking at her mother stern expression kamlyn gulped down hard. "Mmmm mum I was just looking around I didn't go looking for trouble I swear!" She quickly responded raising her hand.
"Come on Elena leave her alone let her enjoy the party. Come let's go dance." Gabriel yang said dragging Mrs yang to the dance floor.
Mouthing a 'thank you daddy' and blowing a kiss kamlyn inwardly Thanked her stars. Mr and Mrs Lu laughed at the drama queen in front of them.
Looking at the dance floor where her parents headed to, her eyes caught sight of a couple dancing beautiful on the stage. "They look good together don't they?." Mrs Lu asked kamlyn noticing her gaze on them.
"Yes aunt. Who are they?" Kamlyn asked Mrs Lu.
"kamy dear that's my eldest son, Ethan, I know you haven't met them yet. The youngest is Axel and I have no idea about where he is right now I would have introduce you guys." Mrs yang said while looking around.
