"Angels and what?" Ava scoffed. "I mean no offense, but — demons?"

"You haven't seen one."

"Uh… No? And so are like maybe ninety-nine percent of the world."

"So you don't believe that they exist?"

"I — "Ava turned her head away. "It's not that I don't believe in them, it's just that it's close to impossible." She pursed her lips as her eyes sprang back to the old man. "So, what are you trying to say? That I'm like… an angel or a demon?"

"No. Angels and Demons cannot have a physical body. A human body cannot house a demon or an angel without… dying."

"So, they are so powerful that if they try to possess someone— "

"It could kill them. Yes."

Ava looked at the book.

"The book of Cain?"

"Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel and god punished him to wander for all eternity."

"And?"

"This is his book about the celestials."

"Celestials?" Ava asked.

"Angels, demons, and dragons."
