Ava was all smiles as she accepted another glass of wine from Matthew. She wasn't drunk from the alcohol but she felt like she was drunk from all the emotions that she experienced when she used her ability to get back at the de Cene family.

Was that even possible?

Was this because she was some sort of an arsonxst that enjoyed burning things?

The answer was no.

It was revenge.

The thought of the de Cene family wondering who did it to them was enough to make her laugh. 

"That should be enough to occupy them for a while." The best way to fight against an enemy that is more powerful than you is… well… none.

It is better to use your brain and wait for that enemy to tire itself out by letting it fight other people.

Then you reap the benefits.
