Chapter 58: WARNING- Wake up

Ava jolted up.

Her head felt sluggish. It was as if she just slept for a long, long time.

She glanced at the bed.

It was large— too large for her at least.

This… wasn't her bed. And she was wearing nothing but… a robe.

Where was she?

She squinted at the room's black and white motif. 

Was this Matthew's room?

"Awake?" Matthew walked towards her, a smirk dangling on his lips.

"What happened?" her hand found her neck, the one that Matthew bit. She could feel it. The wound from his fangs. Memories of what transpired in the woods, filled her head. She felt her face flushed.

"Where do you want me to begin?" he asked.

"I— "

"Shall I start when you— "

"No. Thank you. No need." She turned her head away, her face turned even hotter.

"I like you more when you are shy…" Matthew suddenly said.

"Excuse me?"

Instead of responding, Matthew sat next to her.
