Chapter 53: The Lycan and the Lunatic

For the first time in months Ava wondered what she would feel if she met the woman who was practically Gabriella's best friend— the same woman who abandoned her mother the moment she needed help.

Amore Mclary.

The name still makes her seethe with anger and rage.

It still makes her recall the past

And she hated it.

Amore Mclary should be in her eighties or nineties. 

However, the woman before her looked forty. Or maybe even late thirties.

Amore Mclary was wearing a long burgundy dress, different beads adorned her neck. She walked towards them in a languid manner.

Her face never left Matthew's while totally ignoring Ava's existence.

"When Lycans visit… they usually announce it ahead of time." She took a seat on the chair opposite them. Her face was devoid of any expression.

Ava frowned when she couldn't feel anything from the woman.
