Chapter 138: STRAIGHT

I walked in. I immediately went straight to the living room and my daughter was exposed to me on the sofa, cuddled by her father as he tickled her. My forehead furrowed. Is he home yet?

"Mommy!" Amari cried when she saw me. She dropped from her daddy and quickly ran towards me. Hector and I looked at each other for a moment before I averted my eyes from him.

"Amari…" I greeted her and hugged her tightly.

"Grandma is here, in the kitchen," she whispered to me so I was immediately stunned.

"Did you tell her to come over?" Hector asked and quickly kissed me so I didn't refuse anymore.

"Who?"

"Your stepmother," Hector stated.

My chest throbbed and I quickly circled him. I immediately felt angry. How did she find out about this place? And how did she get into it? To my knowledge, Hector strictly forbade the security from entering what they did not know.
