It's been thirty minutes of being in the restaurant yet I felt like I've been here for about two hours. 

Company's lunch or dinner weren't my thing. Julia had invited John, an employee of mine she was madly crushing on, and the worst part, John came with two other friends and one was with a lady.

At every chance I get I looked away and sighed, pouring drink into my glass at every minute. 

Though I hated this place, but it was better than my home.

"Elysia you haven't touched your plate yet?" 

Julia questioned me. Her lips slightly parted as her gaze travelled between me and my plate.

My gape trails the table, and out of five plates that was served to our table, only mine was yet to be touched.

"You don't like it?" Emily asked, she is the software manager.

"I'm just not hungry." I tried to brush it off, but their demeanor seems as though they were a bit concerned.
