As the threads were cut gradually, the tree lost its power and then turned to ashes slowly. When Stephan finished, he stopped in front of a small sapling, sparkling with golden dust. It was inside the dark tree. No wonder the tree of dreams didn't grow; it was hindered by the parasite.
He opened his inventory and threw the sword of shadows inside. He wondered why the system didn't allow her to be his companion, like how it happened to Gerald. It seemed that it only worked with outsiders. Why wouldn't she create something for her?
"Here," Mike stepped next to him, handing him the ragged doll and ten rings. "We found it in the treasury and the rings, they are full of gold and weapons. You can use them."
"Gold and weapons," Stephan remembered how Aurora tore away the rings in her fingers and tossed them to him. He didn't care for them but now, he saw why she did it. "She knew she didn't have time anymore so she tossed them to me. She is stupid."
